Open Source Kitchen is an art project by ecoarttech. We started this blog because we think processed food is like proprietary software, i.e. with corporate grown, processed food you have limited rights and information as to what you are putting into your body. The results are often foods that have very little nutritive value, contain high levels of carcinogenic compounds, and are produced by all sorts of unethical practices from the displacement of indigenous human families to the torture of animals that are every bit as smart as your family dog.
